Overlooking the Harbor, Steps from Downtown and All That St. John's and the East Coast Have to Offer. Queen Beds in 2 Bedroom 2, Doubles in the other 2 ,full Kitchens With Dishwasher, Microwave, New Appliances, Laundry, 2, 3 Piece Bathrooms, Parking, WiFi and Television. Ocean, Cliff Side and City Views from Many of the Rooms and deck. Beautiful Place to Stay While Exploring the City, Surrounding Outposts, Coves, Cliffs. Hiking Trails and Sea Adventures or as a Base to Stretch Out and See the Island. PLEASE NOT THAT CHECK IN IS AT 4:00 PM AND CHECK OUT IS AT 10 AM. THANKS.

Excellent start to a wonderful vacation in Newfoundland
There is something about this place - so charming! The cottage is very clean, well appointed and quite spacious. Our group of 7 adults had more than enough room. The views from the loft and deck are simply stunning - it quickly became the preferred gathering spot for our group. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to St John's.

Pretty & Perfect!
Four of us coming to NL to hike stayed at the cottage. It is adorable, and so comfortable and very supplied.
The bedrooms are spacious enough, great linens and comfy beds. Bathrooms very clean & have all you need.
The views are the highlight - day & night....perfect!

A Truly Lovely And Comfortable Cottage
Caribou Cottage is put together with a lot of care and thought for a comfortable stay in a beautiful part of St. John's. What's not to love about the Battery! The main floor has a very large living room/dining room/kitchen with a washroom housing the washer/dryer and a walk-in shower off the kitchen. This shower was a godsend as my husband has back issues which makes stepping in and out of a tub rather dodgy. The 2nd floor has the main washroom and 4 bedrooms. The beds are very comfortable. The third floor loft has the magnificent view of the harbour. It also has a large deck off the loft. The view just can't be beat. Unfortunately for us though. my husband's back issues made the extra steps just too much and so he never saw the view. Parking is right in front of the cottage. You need to park your vehicle as close to the cottage as possible as the road there is narrow and there is a lot of traffic. We have a van and managed to "hug" the cottage quite successfully. While we enjoyed our stay at Caribou, it may not have been the best choice for us, considering hubby's back problems. Having said that, I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to stay on the Battery. Thanks to Rochelle for the extra night when our ferry was cancelled due to a tropical storm. I know we were lucky that no-one else had reserved! Our guardian angel and Rochelle were there for us.
