Traditional cottage in the conservation village of Morebattle

Walking down Teapot St away from the cottage and village towards the river
Looking to hallway, through to kitchen. The doorway has curtain rail and a thick curtain up now.
Out front
You could see the two figures in the next photo from the lounge window. If you had a time machine!
Right turn into Teapot St where the figures are. All looks the same minus the car!

1 'The cottage is a beautiful little house, immaculately clean and comfortable with all amenities you need for your stay. Matthew, the host, is very welcoming and friendly and made sure to explain how everything worked. The location is great too, very peaceful and scenic'.

Walk in the hills along the Pennine way at Kirk Yetholm just down the road or St Cuthberts way from the cottage front door! Visit the ancient towns of Kelso, Melrose and Jedburgh, not far away, visit the Northumberland coast and castles 25 miles away, or beautiful Scottish fishing villages like St Abbs with it's clear waters and cliff walks then continue on up to Dunbar. It's a trip I've made many times. There is a so much beauty to be found here. A trip to Edinburgh only 45 miles away or head south east to Alnwick and see the Castle and gardens made famous by Harry Potter. You will need a car or mountain bikes! Unless you are hardened walkers determined to complete St Cuthberts Way or the Pennine Way in reverse. Good luck!

Follow A6089 and B6436 to Morebattle. Teapot St is 50 metres past the village shop on the right. The Cottage is the second house on the left as you drive into Teapot St. In front is a holly tree. :-)

From Newcastle take the A1 then take the A697 at Morpeth. Turn off A697 two miles after Wooler, onto B6351 to Yetholm. Follow road signs from Yetholm 4 miles to Morebattle. Teapot st is 50 metres past village shop on the right. 'The Cottage' second house on the left in Teapot st. In front is a Holly tree. :-)
