About the neighbourhood
Situated on the eastern slopes of The Barossa, we are within a short cycle ride (ask us to reserve our great bikes!) of many great cellar doors, restaurants and attractions. However, you may just choose to relax in the gardens, sample our estate wines, and watch the sun slowly set over the miles of vineyards, it's usually quite breath-taking.
Getting around
Did we mention bikes?! We can guide you to some of the best tranquil roads and tracks in the area, more often ending with a cellar door or two. If you have driven to us and would like to 'get stuck' at dinner or lunch, get a taxi back to the cottage, and we can arrange to collect your vehicle at another time. Easy....

How to get there
The prettiest way by car (and only a few minutes longer); A20 from Adelaide, exit right Gomersal Road to Tanunda, then stop a while, explore and begin your relaxation! (Don't forget the Visitors Centre there - very good) Head north out of Tanunda (watch your speed??!!) to the S bend where you turn slight right in front of Lindsay Wines and on to Vine Vale Road , which in a few km's after a left hand bend becomes Stockwell Road. Our property is 5km on the right, 527. The quickest way from Adelaide by car; We're just a few minutes off the main A20 Sturt Hwy. Exit right at B19, Murray Street, Nuriootpa, then a quick left into Kalimna Road, all the way through to Stockwell Road, turn right, and we're 600 metres on the left. 527. Look for the driveway flanked by the 'four bar white fence' ! OR, GPS, "527 Stockwell Road Penrice SA" (We're more Light Pass as you'll see)
