Had the two bed two bath Conwy unit. It was small but had everything you needed for a comfortable holiday. Little touches, like the inclusion of dishwasher tablets for the stay and extra toilet rolls, were greatly appreciated. WiFi was superb and allowed us to...More

Very well equipped and well appointed holiday cottages for exploring North Wales and Snowdonia in particular. Walks out into the hills, drive down to the beaches, narrow winding road leads up to the cottages high up on a hill with fabulous views. Each cottage has...More

About the neighbourhood
We have the best of both worlds, the seaside at Llanfairfechan with the Carneddau mountains at our back. Llanfairfechan has a sandy beach with Victorian promenade, beach cafes, pubs, Co-op and Spar, newsagent, post office and cashpoints. Our views our spectacular, and we offer peace and tranquillity - a country hideaway. You can walk or bike straight out onto the mountains from here, or just sit on the verandah and watch the ever changing sea, and observe the many birds, from choughs, kestrels and buzzards to woodpeckers. There are bird reserves at Llanfairfechan, Aber Ogwen, Conwy. The walk to the spectacular Aber Falls is a must, and the start is only 3 miles away.
Car advised
How to get there
Airport: Manchester: 130.0 km
Railway: Llanfairfechan: 3.0 km
Ferry: Holyhead: 51.0 km
Llanfairfechan is halfway between Conwy and Bangor, and we are located at the top of Mount Road, just 2 km from Junctions 14 or 15 on the A 55 expressway.

If coming by train, you will need to organize a taxi to come up the hill as we are at 250 metres, and the train station is down by the seaside. Alternatives to Llanfairfechan, which is a request stop on the train, are Bangor (if coming from Holyhead) or Llandudno Junction. Cars can be hired at Holyhead or Llandudno Junction. If driving, we recommend you come up via Valley Road and Newry Drive as it is wider and less steep than Mount Road.
