The king master bedroom suite has doors leading to a plant-screened terrace, with a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, fireplace, and tiled bath and shower. The queen master bedroom suite has a garden balcony and a vaulted boveda ceiling, with a queen-size bed, fireplace, and its own walk-in closet, tiled shower, and private studio with vaulted boveda ceiling. The twins master bedroom suite has twin beds, a walk-in closet, and tiled bath and shower, and its own living area with fireplace and vaulted boveda ceiling. All bedrooms share an internal stairway to rooftop terraces with extraordinary views of the Parroquia and town, lake, mountains, and sunsets. Lie in the sun on chaisse lounges or sit in shade under the tiled veranda. You’ll love your choices for relaxation and enjoyment throughout this thoroughly modern home with 18th century walls. In the living room you’ll find overstuffed sofas and chairs, a hand-built fireplace, and thick, warmly colored walls. In the dining room you may gather for meals at a long country table. The brightly tiled kitchen is ready for cooking or for being served. Relax in the stone patio by a sprinkling tile and stone fountain. Sit outdoors at tile tables or in the cool shade of the outdoor sala with its overstuffed sofas and chairs. This home is in the best area of town, across the street from the home of one of Mexico's most famous actresses, close to buses and within short walks to everything, only three blocks from the Jardin. There is parking on the street and a supervised parking lot is close by. The neighborhood has its own wonderful little bar around the corner, the Fat Mermaid, recently featured as not-to-be-missed in the New York Times. Maria Louisa, the housekeeper, comes to clean, do laundry and change the linens three days a week. We can arrange for a cook by the day for a modest extra fee. The property is also professionally managed by an English speaking manager who is always on call in case you have any problems.More

Thank you for your kind words. We very much appreciate it, as we are relatively new to this site, and have over one hundred five star reviews at another we've used for years. We always welcome guests who enjoy San Miguel and our home!

We are always glad that our guests feel like royalty. And no, we don't allow electric heaters in the bathroom, believing water and electricity don't mix in developing countries. All part of the charm of staying in an old Colonial house in the heart of...More
