Had a fantastic week cycling, walking and sightseeing. No shortage of things to do from Dersingham. The cottage has everything you need, it was very clean, warm and comfortable. The local information/guide books/laminated walks provided were very useful.

About the neighbourhood
You can walk to Sandringham, the royal's Norfolk retreat, in just 40 minutes through woodland and heathland. The Country Park has hundreds of acres to explore. In May/June rhododendrons make a spectacular display and in autumn the woods are bright with colour. Crisp, frosty winter mornings are a delight. The beaches of the North Norfolk coast, including the stunning Holkham and Brancaster beaches, are just a 15 - 20 minute drive away. Dersingham beach (2 ½ miles) has an R.S.P.B.bird reserve and from October to February is home to tens of thousands of pink-footed geese which fly inland during the day to feed, providing a remarkable spectacle every morning and evening. Dersingham Nature Reserve, managed by Natural England is a Site of Spec
