About the neighbourhood
It's the center of town, the heart of everything. Within walking distance you will find freshly squeezed juice, coffee shops, shopping, groceries, authentic French, Italian, Mexican and Argentinian restaurants, art galleries, and ATMs. Tour companies and dive shops offer great opportunities to see the area whether on land or under water.
On special occasions or holidays there may be a little noise around the neighborhood due to festivities in town.
Getting around
We are one block behind the main avenue - a 10 minute walk from the bus station (ADO). We are only a 10min drive or 20min bike ride from the beach! It's easy to get a taxi and they are fairly cheap. Bikes and scooters are available for rent in multiple locations nearby and Payless car rental is only a few blocks away. A hassle-free and economic choice is to pre-book a rental car online.

IF YOU ARE COMING FROM SOUTH i.e. Bacalar, Belize etc.:
Drive into town, passing the HSBC BANK and a set of traffic lights
Turn RIGHT at the FIRST street after the traffic lights – POLLO BRONCO is on the corner
Turn LEFT on the first road
Drive 1,5 blocks
You have arrived
IF YOU ARE COMING FROM NORTH i.e. Playa del Carmen, Cancun etc.:
Drive into town, passing the SUPER SAN FRANSISCO and SCOTIABANK
Turn LEFT at the THIRD traffic light (Before the HSBC BANK)
Turn LEFT on the first road
Drive 2,5 blocks
You have arrived
IF YOU ARE COMING FROM WEST i.e. Coba, Valladolid etc.:
Drive into town, passing BODEGA AURRERA
