We can either arrange two single beds or one king size bed depending on your preferences. The first floor also has a full bath in between the patio and the pool. The second bedroom is located on the second level above the kitchen and dining area. It has a balcony that looks down onto the pool and has a gorgeous view of the surrounding greenery, including a stunning red flowering tree hanging over the casita. In addition to the balcony, the room also has a private patio for some peaceful alone time and an en suite bathroom. Extra Details. There are many restaurants, shopping, and various entertainment options within walking distance of Casa Koala. You can easily find a taxi on one of the busier streets and we will provide you with a number to call one if you wish. Also we invite you to use the two bikes we have provided on the property so that you may take part in Merida’s traditional Sunday bike ride through centro. This property has plenty of street parking available. We provide you with basic kitchen equipment and appliances including a toaster and coffee machine so that you can fuel up with a satisfying breakfast to start your day. Also, every stay includes two free beers and a bottle of wine for our guests. Don’t worry if you forgot your shampoo because both bathrooms are equipped with their own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. In addition to TV and cable there is a PS3 player to play movies or games which is also connected to the house WIFI. You also have an alarm clock where you can dock an iPhone or iPod and listen to your own music. All of our guests are welcome to the entirety of the home and have access to use anything on the property including the kitchen, pool, and any other amenities. About us. Burro y Flauta is a vacation property rental and management company owned and operated by ex-pats from the U.S. who have made Merida our home. We have travelled a lot and stayed in a variety of properties around the world, so we know what you need and want from your vacation property. We will be at the property when you arrive and when you check-out. You will be provided with all of our contact information and will be available 24/7 in case of emergency and also for any questions you might have. Don't hesitate to ask if you need anything. Allow us to help make your visit to Merida perfect! Extra things to note (extra fees) Deposit: A deposit of $500 is charged and held when the reservation is made to cover any damage during the stay. It will be returned within 2 weeks of departure. Pet deposit: Small (under 15kg) pets are welcome, but the guest is responsible for all damage caused by their pets and will clean up after their pets. An extra pet deposit of $200 will be charged for those guests who want to bring pets. Maid fee: For rentals in excess of 1 week, weekly cleaning will be provided at no extra charge. If guests desire more frequent cleaning, then it is available at an additional charge of $35 per visit. Electricity/energy fee: Electricity is extra. The meter will be read at the beginning and the end of the stay and the tenant will be responsible for paying for electricity usage at the prevailing rate for Burro y Flauta. Rental agreement: A copy of the rental agreement will be provided upon the request for reservation, and must be executed and returned within seven (7) days of making the reservation request. Furniture and décor from pictures may differ. We are always upgrading and improving the look and feel of our property for the comfort and pleasure of our guests. House Rules. - Check in is available after 3pm. Check out is before 11am. We may be able to accommodate an early check-in if availability allows. - Reservations during Christmas, New Year, and Semana Santa (Easter) require a one week minimum stay. - We allow smoking on the balconies and any of the outdoor areas but it is prohibited inside the property. Great find!

Loved our 3 night stay here. Extremely well-appointed. High quality everything! Comfortable beds. Great shower. Awesome living space. Was perfect for 2 couples. Had privacy when we wanted and time together was comfortable for everyone. Every space in the house is amazing.
