The Mansion is grand with finely furnished rooms all of a significant size. Located within 300 metres of the Yarraville village ,close to the station and it is only 4 kms to the Melbourne CBD. This booking is for the use of the house as accommodation only no parties,weddings or events with invited guests are to be held at the property. The house has historical charm from the Victorian period that include large rooms , high ceilings ,marble fireplaces polished floorboards and ornate cornices. The modern conveniences include 4 marble tiled bathrooms , some are ensuites The kitchen is a modern with stainless steel benches. The house has a large open plan living area with a large family room adjacent to the kitchen and overlooking the garden . There is considerable off street parking in the grounds of the house. Close to the Yarraville village you are in walking distance to all the shops , The Sun picture theatre and the Yarraville station .( 15 min ride to the CBD) Here you can experience the lifestyle of an inner suburb of Melbourne.The Yarraville village has a wide range of restaurants offering all types of cuisines . The house is close to The Melbourne Show Grounds ,Flemington Race Track , the Football at Docklands , Melbourne Central Business District ,and the theatres , Docklands, Williamstown and Footscray . It is well located to start your drive to the Great Ocean Rd. The home offers a unique experience to stay in a renovated Victorian Mansion of special ambiance and proportions. It is perfect for small group get togethers , Corporate stays for interstate or overseas staff . The house has full hydronic heating for the winter that includes heating in all the living areas and in all bedrooms. The large size of the house provides a good airflow throughout the house in summer and the solid brick frame of the whole house acts as insulation against the summer heat. There is ample parking on the property for 4 or more cars. Social parties with invited guests are strictly not permitted. The home is only for accommodation only.--------- Bookings for any party group will be cancelled as this property is not suitable for these groups. The booking will only be accepted on the basis that guests agree to respect our neighbours and abide by our House Rules and the VIC Code of Conduct. Bookings that do not meet these requirements will be cancelled with a full refund.
