About the neighbourhood
You can do everything walking in the Downtown. The Centro Histórico is magical, there are wonderful colonial buildings, prehispanic settlements and modern architecture in the same area. You can just get out and walk and spend all day having a good time of great cultural, culinary and shopping offer, but you can also plan a lot before arriving.
To eat: El Cardenal, La Casa de Toño, Taquería El Caifán, GoTan, Gino's, El Pescadito.
To drink: La Cerveceria del Barrio, Mercado Independencia
To buy: Madero Boulevard (distance 800 metres)
Convenience stores: 7 Eleven, Oxxo, Sanborns
Three metro stops within walking distance, Bellas Artes, Hidalgo and Juárez Taxi stands on the street. Uber and Cabify apps coverage (recommended by practicality).
In front of the building you can take a touristic bus, Turibus System. It's a double-decker red bus makes a circuit from the Centro Histórico (Downtown) to the other interesting neighborhoods like Polanco, Condesa, Roma, Reforma Avenue and also Pyramids of Teotihuacan.

From the Airport: In taxi, 20 minutes without traffic, or 50 minutes in rush hours. In Metrobus 30 minutes: It goes directly from the airport to the Hidalgo stop which is in front of the Hilton Hotel, nearby the apartment.
