The Bothy is a single storey property sympathetically converted from the garden buildings of an old Victorian walled garden in a rural location, but close to Aberfeldy. The property has a comfortable double bedroom and delightful well-equipped kitchen/living area. The Bothy is ideal for sightseeing visitors as well as the more active, and you have the use of our flower garden and large meadow - ideal for picnics when the weather allows! For the colder months of the year the cottage offers oil-fired central heating as well as an open fire. We have plenty of parking and lots of room to hose down muddy mountain bikes in our old stable yard. This is a lovely little cottage where you can totally relax in peace and comfort. The lounge area is very cosy with a fabulous log fire and there is a well equipped kitchen area. Love it and I will no doubt return again for another...More

Everything was perfect. A cosy cottage arranged with much of love in a big garden with a great view over the highlands of Perthshire. Sheep everywhere, Birds singing. Squirrel and pathridge looking arround. A warm welcome from our hosts, flowers, shortbreads, pancakes and marmelade. Thanks...More

Aberfeldy itself has much to commend itself to the tourist with golf, cycling and water activity centres all based in the town. The town has some delightful eating establishments, notably the Habitat cafe, Ailean Chraggan hotel/restaurant and the Cafe Amour bistro - all highly rated by TripAdvisor reviewers. It is also the home of the famous Watermill cafe and bookstore, consistently rated one of the finest of its type in the country. Grandtully itself is a small village yet is the home of the renowned Highland Chocolatier and the famous UK kayaking and canoeing centre. Freespirits whitewater rafting and adventure centre is also based right by the river here next to the Inn on the Tay, also consistently highly rated for eating by TripAdvisor reviewers.
