Can't fault cottage and it would be perfect for a younger couple who like walking or cycling. For my wife and I ( in our 70s ) we found it to far away from the main attractions of the area. Spent far to much time driving to different places. Also found TV to be tiny. The weather during our visit...

My husband & i stayed for a few nights in July with our 2 dogs ,the property is immaculate and well equipped in a lovely quiet area .we would highly recommend this property

From England take the M6 to Carlisle then take the A75 at junction 22 near Gretna follow signs for Stranraer. Creetown is 66 miles (105k) from Carlisle. Ryanair offer cheap flights to Glasgow Prestwick, BA, Easyjet and bmiBaby fly into Glasgow.

Stena ferries operate from Belfast and Larne to Stranraer.

Virgin Rail links are available on the west coast - fast train from London Euston to Carlisle in under 4.5 hours with car hire available from Carlisle. Barhill station serves the Glasgow line and is 20 miles to the west of Creetown.

Glasgow Prestwick airport is 52 miles and the ferryport of Stranraer is 22 miiles to the west
