The walks extend all over Boduan Estate, Mynedd Nefyn and the whole of the Lleyn.Nant Gwyrhern hosts a welsh language centre and is an old stone mining village in the Rivals mountains, now restored with cafe and events centre, and an authentic stone terraced house; apart from the challenging walking Nant Bay is one of the wildest places with views to Anglesey and only accessable by boat or walking down from the village itself. At the peninsular tip is the fishing village of Aberdaron with pubs and hostelries, one previously used by the travelling pilgrims waiting for the weather to clear in the Sound before their final stage to Bardsey Island. The sea fishing can be good locally with sea bass to be caught beach fishing in autumn whilst mackerel, prawns, crab and lobster from a boat are not difficult.A marina is 15 mins drive in the market town of Pwllheli, and many National Championship Sailing events are held at the new Sailing Academy in the town. The pretty holiday resort of Abersoch is 20mins drive, and surfing is excellent at Hell's Mouth just west along the south coast.During Autumn, Boduan Estate hosts some of the finest game shooting in Wales and is on the doorstep.More
