At 400 feet above sea level and 180 degree ocean view this spacious efficiency apartment affords a spectacular panorama. On the horizon lie the islands of St. Thomas and St. John and the British Virgin Islands and to the east Salt River Bay and Buck Island. Our mid-island north shore location means convenient access to stores and beaches and pleasant afternoon temperatures cooled by a constant trade wind. Situated in a quiet and landscaped subdivision it's ideal for that romantic holiday.
Our West Indian style home is situated in a beautiful subdivision on the north shore directly overlooking Salt River Bay. At 1000 feet from the shore line and an elevation of 400 feet you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the breaking surf below and cooled by dependable trade wind breezes. Morning sun...

Breathtaking
John and Keziah’s guest apartment is by far the best of the best on the island. They were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I’ve camped at Mount Victory, stayed at the Carambola and spent several nights at an Airbnb in downtown Christiansted. None of those comes close to Frigates View. If you appreciate interior design and beautiful Caribbean architecture you will fall in love. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a comfy bed and pull-out sofa. The trade winds provide a constant cool breeze so there is no need for a/c. From the terrace, you can see St. Thomas, St. John and Tortola on a clear day. Rent a Jeep, take the top down, and get yourself up to this amazing house! I will definitely be staying here next year!

Amazing place and hosts
We stayed here early May 2018. Wow! The views are absolutely amazing. The rental unit has a separate entrance and faces the trade winds, so while it doesn't have an AC, you probably won't need one. We kept the sliding doors open as we slept, and there's a ceiling fan as well as a standing floor fan if you want it. The hosts are very friendly and met us at the agreed upon time (they had already provided driving directions by email). The apartment has a fully stocked kitchen,nice bathroom, comes with beach and bathroom towels, as well as a cooler, float, and other stuffy you may want for the beach. It's centrally located on the island, so while it's a bit of a drive up the mountain to get to the house, all in all you're in a much better location than if you're on the east end or in Frederiksted. Highly recommended!

Best place to be away from the hustle and bustle of Hotels
Nice clean and generous thick towels, kitchen tools complete for the chef away from home. Owners were kind and suggested excellent food establishments to check out. Only drawback was since we were not used to hot and humid conditions it was difficult to sleep on most nights without air conditioning. The Queen size bed with a pillow top mattress proved to be too hot for those conditions. I would recommend getting an Isocool mattress pad to help stop pooling the heat in the mattress. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay and will use this rental again. Thanks J & K for the hospitality!

Absolutely Stunning Views !!!
Being located in the mountains makes for wonderful views, breezes and peacefulness. Very secure location, we never felt the need to lock our door. Impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. We spent many hours enjoying the view and breezes on the comfortable deck. There is no television, but there is wifi, so bring a laptop or tablet with you if that is important to you. The owners, John & Keziah are wonderful people. I would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous vacation rental
This is the best vacation rental on the island. My boyfriend and I have stayed here three times and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. The view is fabulous and because the home overlooks the ocean it has a very relaxing ocean breeze that you don't get when you are at sea level.
The home has all the amenities you need, everything for cooking your own breakfast, lunches, and dinners, the bathroom and shower are fully stocked, there are beach towels and there is a beach bag and an ice chest so you can easily carry towels/food/beverages etc. to the beach.
The location is perfect- you can get anywhere on the island within about 20 minutes.
I highly recommend this home for your visit to St. Croix.

Fantastic time. Very peaceful.
We absolutely loved it here. Very peaceful. Everything is high quality. Slept with the doors open to the lovely ocean breeze every night. Bed is comfortable, internet is good. A short drive to town (you should have a car to stay here.).
