The Village boasts a local pub, called the Eagle, within easy walking distance that occasionally acts as a shop and serves both pub food and excellent restaurant food. We now have a taxi in the village, cards for the taxi company are in the cottage. Bala is just a 5 mile walk/bus/drive or bike ride away. Barmouth and it's beaches only 40 minutes drive away. The cottage has TVplayers in each of the bedrooms the upstairs bedroom has a Docs player also, Fibre optic broadband wi-fi is available. The Bala railway station is a pleasant 10 minute walk away, the train runs into Bala ( Seasonal) To the rear of the property there is a small terrace and a small area of grass with seating, there is a gate that then leads onto a bigger garden area with a washing line available, please note we have a fulltime tenant in LLyndir the cottage next door who has shared use of this garden. the road to Dogellau runs to the right hand side of the cottages, the road into the village to the front. The cottage is much loved by our family and most report it as a home from home. More

This small but beautiful cottage was an ideal base for my son and I to explore North Wales. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need provided by the friendly owner Jacqui. A pleasure to stay in.
