We stayed again
I booked the guest house again and had a great time! I can't say enough about this property. It is very well kept and private. I just love it! I could stay here all day and just relax on the balcony. It is very peacful and always has a great breeze. This home is in an area that isn't too busy and you can't hear the traffic from the main road. You are a short drive from the airport and the beach. I plan to visit again!

Would love to stay again
I have been to Haiti many times and this is the first time I have rented a house. We really enjoyed this house, it was very clean when we came in and anything we asked for was quickly provided. Our biggest worry was having "power" and we were never without. Everyone in the area was very respectful and polite. We were able to pay someone to wash our clothes. We mainly stayed in the larger bedroom and it never felt crowded. The view from the dining table is beautiful and there was always a nice breeze. I would really enjoy saying at this house again.

You could just spend days on the property enjoying the weather,
I really enjoyed my stay. I have traveled a lot all over Europe and this was my first Caribbean stay, a family group trip. I didn't know what to expect but the house and property was beautiful, large and spacious. It has many rooms, living spaces and a large court yard area. It is definitely suited for a large party of guests. The service was great. We were picked up at the airport, taken to the property and anywhere else we wanted to go with great advice and suggestions. You do get to see various views of the city as you drive to the property. The house is outside the city, in a suburb area. There is still some construction of houses around it but it doesn't deter from the property. You could just spend days on the property enjoying the weather,the food and great conversation and feel perfectly fine or go on outings and come back to a home feeling sanctuary. The view was beautiful, especially from the second floor looking towards the mountains.
The house is pretty modern with showers, running water, electricity,stove, coffee maker, etc. You do have to get used to taking cool showers, but it does feel good because of the warm climate. My bedroom was a good size, almost the size of a hotel room. It could easily & comfortably fit a couple. It also had the dresser space! The food was outstanding. The food was traditional and was mouth watering delicious. Just bring bottled water to drink and some snacks for days your body might adjust from traveling and being in a foreign country. (A seasoned traveler tip!) Overall, it was a great stay. I have no complaints.
