Beautifully furnished and newly decorated self contained one bedroom apartment . Situated in Bathway with amazing uninterupted sea views about 500 metres from the coastline and easy walking distance to the main sandy beach and beach rum shops.There is a private, enclosed veranda and access to a large garden shared with the owners. Perfectly situated for country walks, beach and swimming, Levera Beach home of nesting turtles , trips to local Islands and much much more.

Excellent Apartment. Wonderful Hosts
We booked through VRBO, looking for a place in Grenada on or near a beach and away from resorts.
The Glass House was a good location for us, with both Bathway and Levera Beaches a short distance away. Although in a fairly rural location, shopping in Sauteurs or Grenville was only 15 to 20 minutes away by car.
The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, airy, clean and well-appointed. We felt at home and this made it easy to relax and unwind. Being close to the beach, the design of the apartment allowed for good flow-through air circulation to take advantage of the sea breezes to moderate the temperature.
We felt safe throughout our stay. It was so easy to strike up conversations with local Grenadians either at the beach or in the beach bars. If we appeared to be lost at times, the locals were extremely friendly and helpful with directions.
You couldn't ask for better hosts than Jane and Dennis. They had a comprehensive guide binder with brochures, maps and so on. They were an excellent source of suggestions for things to do, to see, where to eat (and not eat). Their black Lab, Shadow, would welcome us home whenever we returned from an outing. I think they were a key factor in us getting the most out of our time in Grenada and making it a particularly memorable vacation.
If you want to avoid the crowds and have a truly relaxing holiday, The Glass House would be an excellent choice in Grenada.

Jane and Denis are lovely hosts with a wonderful self-contained apartment in a great location.
The apartment is very close to Bathway Beach and has a view out to sea. It is well furnished and has sufficient kitchen stuff for all meals. We ate on the veranda overlooking the sea most of the time and enjoyed sitting out there as well. The beach is across the road - the swimming area is a bit further along the beach and it has a lifeguard on duty. The swimming is fantastic even in rough seas as the reef provides protection. There are lots of places to see around the area. It is possible to walk to quite a few if you are in good shape but there are buses and taxis available to go longer distances. Jane and Denis are terrific hosts willing to assist with directions and suggestions of places to go and are great people.

Perfect Location
We booked the Glass House a couple of days, before we were due to travel to Grenada - for a Family Wedding. We arrived at the Glass House apartment and we were inspired from the moment we arrived. we were pleasantly surprised. we were very impressed, The apartment is very comfortable with good modern facilities. The location is perfect. - Jane and Dennis our hoist are faultless, they are both so wonderful, friendly and very very helpful. we would definitely go there again, and we would highly recommend them. Thanks once again Jane and Dennis. we had a wonderful experience

Lovely Apartment
Jane & Denis are a very friendly and accommodating couple, meeting us off the ferry from Carriacou with our box of provisions and driving us back to their lovely apartment, showing us a part of the island on the way and stopping off at points of interest. On our way back but to the airport this time, we were treated to another tour. Contact throughout was quick and easy. The property is stand alone and quiet. As we didn’t have our own transport, they were always on hand to offer us lifts to the bus stop which is a good 20 minute walk depending on your speed and fitness. A highly recommended accommodation for the north of the island.

Wonderful Bathway Beach Apartment
We couldn’t have asked for more amazing hosts. Jane and Denis are absolutely awesome.
Where do I start, Denis picked us up from the Airport (arranged separately with hosts, great if you’re not renting a car). He took us to the Spiceland Mall in St George’s, he waited for us whilst we stocked up on a few additional essentials to get us through our first few days. The apartment has some essentials to get you going.
At the Apartment Denis had made us some fresh Passion Fruit Juice and most importantly there was also beer and Water in the Fridge. Throughout our stay Denis and Jane gave us as much privacy as we wanted but invited us along to different events that were going on, which also allowed us to begin to get to know the spirit of Grenada. Denis also gave us lifts to the bus stop or the nearest towns when they were also going in. We chose not to rent a car instead we took the bus, which also gave us the opportunity to experience more of Grenadian culture.
We pretty much did everything we wanted to do via the bus. I must warn you the buses are not for the faint hearted, if you are adventurous and willing to do something very different and don’t mind walking a bit then embrace the buses.
Our stay in Grenada culminated in being invited for Christmas dinner with Jane, Denis and their daughter to their friends home in Bathway Beach, which was incredible lots of food, drinks and great company. We left for the UK on Boxing Day.
There’s so much to tell I almost forgot we were also given lots of fresh fruit from our hosts. Passion Fruit, Limes, Grapefruit, Carambola (Star Fruit) and Bananas I even got some fresh Turmeric from their plot.
Go to the Island with an open mind and embrace the culture. There is a lot to see and do or you can just relax and soak up the sun. Grenada is definitely on my list to go again.
Thank you Jane and Denis for your generosity going above and beyond anything we could’ve expected.

Lovely Peaceful Apartment in Bathway - St Patricks - Grenada
Lovely welcome from Jane and Denis, the apartment was very well presented clean and well stocked with essential items for very comfortable stay. Cooking facilities were just what i needed for small meals - lovely ceiling fan in the bed room to keep cool at night. Near to all the things to see in the north of the island, Bathway Beach, Levera nature reserve, Sauteurs leapers hill, Petite Anse hotel, Grenville, Rivers Rum Distillery and well connected to the East Road which is the best way to get around if your are unfamiliar with the island.

Nice view from the house

8 Days of Relaxation
We have just returned from 8 nights at the Glass House, the final location in our 3 weeks in Grenada which also included stays in St Georges and Carriacou.
The apartment is very comfortable with excellent modern facilities and plenty of space for 2. It was very windy when we were there but this helped keep us cool and avoided the need to use the fan in the bedroom. It is a 10 minute stroll to Bathway Beach, we found using the road a better option than walking along the soft sand as the sea was quite high. There you will find a choice of small vendors where fish or chicken and chips followed by ice cream are available very cheaply. We also had an excellent meal at Aggie's restaurant and enjoyed the atmosphere at the Blue Bar at the far end of the beach. Swimming behind the reef between the red flags is safe and there is a lifeguard on duty, also very friendly people at the tourist information office.
We did not have a car but were happy to use the local buses to Sauteurs and Grenville from River Sallee, a 20 minute to half hour walk away although someone usually stopped and gave us a lift
Finally we must thank our excellent hosts, Jane and Denis, who picked us up and took us back to the airport as well as giving us a lift in their car if they were going somewhere It was also great to go out with them and to meet and chat to their friends.
The north of the island is much quieter than the busier south around Grand Anse beach and St Georges. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. If you want a relaxing time in a comfortable apartment with great views, the sea on your doorstep and helpful hosts who know all there is to know about the area, then we can certainly recommend a stay at the Glass House. Hopefully we will make it back.

A dream stay
We have been traveling around in the beautiful island of Grenada and have spent only 2 nights in The Glass House, which was a mistake, it should have been many more.
The apartment is every thing you can wish for, beautiful furniture, very clean,
complete kitchen, modern equipment, nice bathroom and bedroom with a very comfortable bed.
A morning coffee on the terras with a great view on the bay will bring you in the right mood for a perfect day.
Jane is a wonderful host, explaining all you need to know and ever so helpful to make your stay one to remember.
Thank you Jane, we hope to come back.

Beautiful Bathway
The apartment is well equipped with great views and super hosts. Both Bathway and Lavera bays are good locations to swim and enjoy time on the beach. There is good walking through interesting villages and around the coast. Jane was extremely welcoming helpful and sourced a ride for us to the Armadillo restaurant about 20 minutes away. Highly recommended and great value.
