Wonderful stay, listing was accurate and the view was even better in person. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home provided all the amenities that we needed plus more. Great location with tons of restaurants in walking distance, awesome beach and pool for kids and adults. The host was also awesome, very welcoming, great communication and even had welcome goodies for us. We'll definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderfully relaxing space with that million dolla...
Wonderfully relaxing space with that million dollar view. The condo had all we needed for a great stay and is as described. Plenty of towels - beach ones as well. Very clean with a fun selection of books, but mostly in Dutch and we don’t speak the language, but fun to flip through in any case. Kitchen was stocked with all needed to prepare your own meals. Appliances worked perfectly. The bedding seemed to lack a flat sheet on beds, but that is a matter of taste and just what we are used to in the states. There was, however, a lack of bed pillows and when we asked for a few more, none arrived.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would return to the same spot upon a return trip to Curaçao!

The Strand was perfect for us! We are a family of ...
The Strand was perfect for us! We are a family of four and to have a bathroom attached to each bedroom was very nice. And, the extra 1/2 bathroom off the kitchen was a bonus! The oversized chair out on the balcony was a family favorite!
The building and unit were very clean and quiet. The view is incredible! When we initially booked the unit we were thrilled that there was also a pool but honestly, we spent all our time down on the water or exploring other beaches and the island. We loved that The Strand is within walking distance of Willemstad as well. It was the perfect place for us to unwind!!
The check-in and check-out process was easy and Saskia was ready to help with whatever we needed.
Tanne was very responsive with her all communication (I had many questions for her prior to our renting the unit). We had no issues whatsoever.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend 3C at The Strand!

Wij hebben het goed naar ons zin gehad in Curaçao ...
Wij hebben het goed naar ons zin gehad in Curaçao eind maart mede dankzij ons verblijf in het appartement van eigenaresse Tanne en natuurlijk Karin de beheerder van het complex. Zij hebben ons zeer goed, snel en gastvrij begeleid.
Wij hebben dit appartement gekozen vanwege de gunstige locatie t.o.v. Willemstad en de grootte. Het complex, bestaande uit zo’n 18 appartementen is verdeeld over 4 woonlagen. Het is gunstig gelegen aan het strand met een zwembad, op ca. 15 minuten loopafstand van het centrum van Willemstad. Het prive strand is voorzien van ligbedden met in het strandhuisje gratis kussens en zwembandjes voor de kids. Parkeren kun je voor de deur op een afgesloten en bewaakt parkeerterrein. Iedere appartement heeft zijn eigen parkeerplek. Tijdens ons verblijf was erg rustig in het complex. Dit is onze 3e keer op Curaçao (respectievelijk 5 en 10 jaar geleden) en de Penstraat waaraan het gelegen is, is opmerkelijk op vooruitgegaan. Heel wat (authentieke) huizen zijn in de loop der tijd gerenoveerd en het is vooral een stuk levendiger geworden. In de nabije omgeving zijn leuke restaurants te vinden en op ca. 3 minuten (auto) rijafstand is een supermarkt en een tankstation. Mocht je een auto hebben dan heb je op ca. 10 minuten afstand een XL Albert Heijn (van der Tweel) waar je echt alles kunt kopen wat je ook in Nederland kunt vinden, er staat zelfs een haringkar voor de deur. Een huurauto lijkt me wel een pre zeker als je meer van het eiland wilt zien maar is niet noodzakelijk als je een beetje van wandelen houdt en in Willemstad wilt blijven.
Het appartement is erg ruim, modern ingericht en zeer geschikt voor gezinnen met (meerdere) kinderen of twee aparte stellen. Het heeft een ruime woonkamer met open keuken, een apart toilet en 3 slaapkamers met ieder een eigen badkamer wat voor privacy zorgt. Een washok met wasmachine en wasdroger maakt het geheel compleet. De keuken was van alle gemakken voorzien met alle huishoudelijke artikelen wat je thuis ook zou aantreffen. Op het ruime balkon kun je aan tafel heerlijk van het uitzicht genieten en bootjes voorbij zien varen. Enige minpuntje wat ik kan bedenken is dat ik dit keer geen dolfijnen heb zien langskomen.

The location is great with a swimming, pool, beach, and snorkeling, right out your door. The condo is spacious and can house 2 to 3 families easily. It is close to shops and restaurants. We would recommend the Wine Cellar. There were, however, hidden charges that we did not expect. We were asked to pay for the electric bill beyond a certain amount per day, which was not in the contract. It’s been three weeks since we rented and we have not received our deposit back nor did we receive any communication as to why. For these reasons, we are giving this condo a low rating and renters should be aware of hidden charges.

We think this condo is in a great location, and this particular unit has a great view. The unit was clean, ready for our arrival, and boast an admirable view from it's 3rd story location. Four adults stayed here comfortably, the kitchen had everything we needed for any meals we made in the unit.
The master and 2nd bedroom are amply sized, the third bedroom is very small, appropriate for a young child, but not an adult. The beautiful balcony has a table and six chairs, a lovely spot for any meal. But there is only one comfortable lounge chair, there really should be two. Overall, we'd be happy to stay hear again.

We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We really enjoyed the beach area and the closeness to town. The listing has a few inconsistencies. you are responsible for paper towels and toilet paper after the initial is gone and the wifi has changed than
the one stated in the binder but these are little things that did not detract from our stay. This condo was perfect for our family.

Great location, great apartment
Spacious apartment with wonderful ocean view. Walking distance to Willemstad old town center, and many excellent restaurants. Excellent security.
