The Barn at Nant Llwyd

Overview
Barn -
2 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 4
Brechfa, Carmarthenshire, Wales
The Barn is just north of the town of Brechfa. The farm has its own stream, paddocks and a second undeveloped barn. This is a rural paradise, with our closest neighbours 1/2 mile away and the most noise coming from sheep in the surrounding pastures.

The Barn has been beautifully converted into two en suite bedrooms, both with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. It's well equipped - we've tried to think of everything! The spacious kitchen/dining area has underfloor heating (which is loved by dogs and people alike), and the sitting room is especially cosy with the wood burner.

There's a Smart TV with Freeview, a secure wifi connection, DVD player and lots of board games to keep you amused.

All bed linen, towels, hand and laundry soap, loo rolls and washing up liquid are provided within the cost.

And we're...

Interaction with guests
Unfortunately, as much as I would like to always be on hand for any questions and provide assistance, work dictates otherwise. This means that I may or may not be around at the time of your visit. However, not to worry as with modern technology, I can be contacted via intercom, email or phone at any time. I also have a lovely couple who know The Barn inside out living nearby if there are any more serious issues I can not assist with.

After a year not going on holiday for various reason, myself and my husband were really looking forward to coming back to the Barn this June, and being re-acquainted with it. It was just like coming home, warm quiet and very relaxing. James Holt, owner,...More

The Barn caters for a maximum of four people and whilst we are happy for children, may not be the most toddler safe due to some steps, solid floors and wood burning stove.

How to get there
Railway: Carmarthen: 29.0 km
In this era of Sat Navs and online maps, actually getting to the location is relatively simple. However, using the post code brings you to the center of Llidiad Nenog. Coming over the moor and down into Llidiad Nenog, you should drive straight through the hamlet and out the other side for about a 1/2 mile, whereupon you will find Nant Llwyd on the right. Arriving from the direction of Brechfa, once you get to the top of the hill and emerge from the pine trees, you will see Nant Llwyd nestled into a shallow dip on the left. The way off the road is up a short incline and through a gate. There are two slate signs with Nant Llwyd on them. Come down the drive to the bottom of the yard and The Barn is on the left. If the gate is shut, then please can you shut after you come through as that will... more
