Walk across magnificent coastal paths from Trebarwith Strand (where you can leave your car). The cottage is in the parish of St Treath which came into existence in the 20th century, 3 hamlets Delabole, Meadrose and Rockhead. the village lies in the area of Cornwall of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and is protected as a National Park. The manor was recorded in the Doomsday book in 1086.
Getting around
For those who want to explore this beautiful coastline then a car is recommended. There is a bus route into Wadebridge and Camelford. Walks and excursions are easy to Padstow, Port Issac and Camelford. Rustic roads to the unspoilt surroundings keep this little gem hidden from some tourism spots. Best to travel by car or public transport or walk or even explore by bringing your cycle with you. ( secure garage for bikes etc at the cottage)
