About the neighbourhood
Mullaghduff is a peaceful townland on the Wild Atlantic Way, between the villages of Annagry and Kincasslagh (both approx. 3km away). The townland consists of a number of houses and a traditional Irish bar - Bonner's, with a great reputation for food and music, and is close to the Donegal coastline - Carrickfinn and Mullaghderg are the nearest beaches less than 3km away. Mullaghduff was also home to Celtic Park's first sod of turf, which was cut in 1995. In June 1995 a small plaque was unveiled along the road by Celtic Captain Paul McStay.
Getting around
Car: highly recommended. Public transport is limited, some services are provided by local coach operators but this can be seasonal. We can provide details of chauffeur driven tours/day trips on request.
