Ballygown Cottage is a 3 bed property with private gardens to include fruit trees and flower borders with gated access and off-road parking for up to 6 cars. It is set in an acre of land and frequently has two donkeys Millie and Mollie who live there for short periods of time. There is a large balcony area with seating on the kitchen roof views across the open countryside to the mountains and also across the acre. The house itself consists of a large covered porch area, lounge, kitchen/diner, family bathroom, boot room and 1 double bedroom on the ground floor. On the first floor are two bedrooms, one with a toilet and sink, with access on to the balcony. Really felt at home in this property.The owner is very easy to deal with, the scenery is lovely and very peaceful. You are only ten minutes from Mallow a nice busy provincial town with bus and train links and plenty of cafes, some nice clothes...More

Stayed in this lovely renovated cottage several times in 2017. Roaring hot stove to keep you warm in the winter months and beautiful sunshine and views for miles during the summer months. Cottage is clean, spacious and very well kept. Cottage is within driving distance...More
