Chataigne is in the Fermes de Sainte Foy apartments just below the shops and restaurants of Sainte Foy ski resort. It is a short walk from the main nursery slope and lifts. It is a stylish 70m² apartment with ground floor access offering spectacular views of the Tarentaise valley and Aiguille Rouge and Mont Pourri mountains from the large balcony.

About the neighbourhood
The Tarentaise valley is famous for its snow sure winter resorts. All our properties are within easy reach of the big names – Val d’Isère, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plagne and La Rosière with its link to the Italian La Thuile – as well as being at the foot of the slopes at Sainte Foy Tarentaise.

There's loads to do in summer too. You can choose to mountain bike, road cycle, hike, climb, play golf or tennis, swim, watch the Tour de France, indulge at the local wine fairs, or simply relax and soak up the sun.
Getting around
Whilst a car is not needed in the winter if you intend to ski mainly at Sainte Foy, it will make it easier if you want to ski at other resorts as public transport is limited and taxis are expensive.

In the summer a car is essential to be able to make the most of what the area has to offer.

We are a 10-hour drive from the channel ports.

Our nearest airports are Chambery, Grenoble, Lyon and Geneva, all served by national and low-cost airlines.

Our nearest railway station is Bourg St Maurice, which is served by a direct Eurostar service in winter. In winter and summer you can take the regular Eurostar service to Paris or Lille and change to a French railways train.
