Poderino, Camporsevoli

1 of 24
Villa -
4 Bedrooms , 4 Bathrooms , Sleeps 8
Le Piazze, Tuscany
Of about 300 sq/mt (3200 sq/ft), it is the estate’s most recent restoration, where we tried to condense all of the experiences, lessons and tips we have accumulated over the years.
It is a scenically located, with breathtaking views all around. It is an independent eight person house, about 1 km from the hamlet, accessible via a private road that offers complete privacy. The two floors, built on the hill’s slope, both have direct access to the garden.

The lower floor is made up of a large living room with fireplace and a reading area and two double bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. Both rooms have French doors that open out onto the garden. The upper floor features a large eat-in kitchen with a separate laundry and utility room, a large dining room with fireplace and two double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom.

About the neighbourhood
Camporsevoli is the ideal base location to travel from, located halfway between Rome and Florence and within a short drive of countless important and idyllic towns and small cities worth visiting. You need go no further than Cetona, San Casciano dei Bagni & Citta della Pieve, a mere 20 minutes drive from Camporsevoli, to enjoy some of the best views of Valdichiana & the Val d'Orcia while lingering over a cappuccino or stopping for a pre-dinner aperitif. For day trips, consider Orvieto, Perugia, Cortona, Assisi, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Siena and Arezzo, all of which are about one hour away. Specialty stores and well stocked supermarkets are close by, catering to all needs such as gluten / lactose free diets.
Getting around
To really take advantage your trip, you will need a car because there is not public transportation between Camporsevoli and Chiusi-Chianciano Terme, which is the closest train station. We recommend that you rent a car upon arriving to Italy which allows you to soak in the Italian countryside as you drive to Camporsevoli. If, however, you prefer the train, you may take the train to Chiusi, 25 minutes from Camporsevoli, and rent a car directly from there. During your stay, you may like to travel via train to some of the larger cities such as Florence or Rome to avoid parking and traffic. You may leave your car at the station and pick it up directly upon your return without any hassle.
How to get there
The closest airport is Perugia, 1 hour away and linked via low cost airlines to interesting airports in Europe. Florence and Rome are the two large airports that are the only choice if traveling from farther away, both are approximately 1 hr 45 mins away. Rome has intercontinental flights, Florence cannot host large airplanes thus if traveling from other continents you still need to stopover somewhere in Europe to get onto a smaller flight to Florence. The added asset of Florence is that being a smaller airport, it's more manageable and traffic out of if less hectic. Pisa is well connected to European cities, but at least 2 and half hours away En route from Florence and Rome there are several options of stopping along the way for a meal or a quick visit.
