La Brasserie is on the outskirts of the charming medieval town of Montmorillon, in Vienne [86], which is part of the Poitou Charentes region of France. It is a 19th century house with lovely high ceilings, authentic original marble fireplaces, large windows and furnishings to suit the period and large proportions. We provide a Quality & Eco-friendly service.

We are an hours drive away from Poitiers and Limoges Airports and Boulogne is just over 6 hours drive.

Loft Apartment [105 m²] blends the old with new in a complementary style. We have kept the lovely oak roof supports exposed, in the large main room [living, dining room and kitchen], whereas the 2 bedrooms and shower room retain the light, bright and comfortable atmosphere, but are not so high. About the neighbourhood
You can also fly to Poitiers [50 minutes drive] and Limoges [1hour and 10 minutes] with RyanAir. It is easy to book a hire car before and collect from the airport. Or you could go by Eurotunnel the ferries Brittany Ferries, LD Lines, P&O, and Sea France.

Then there is always the train Eurostar, then Paris to Poitiers on the high speed train [TGV] “SNCF”and then the local train to Montmorillon.

From Montmorillon, take the road to Saulgé [D5], past the train station, go under the bridge and La Brasserie is the 1st road on the left [there is a Chambres D’Hôtes sign]. Our house is opposite the mill, facing the river.
