Dorchester –A thriving town steeped in history, you will discover Roman remains like Maumbury Rings, an amphitheater capable of sitting 10,000 people and Maiden Castle, the largest hill fort in England, dating back to 3,000BC.
Weymouth – With its beautiful fine sandy beach. A seaport since Roman times but today the harbour is busier than ever with Channel Island ferries, fishing boats, and pleasure craft. The Royal Yachting Association credits the sailing waters as being the best in Northern Europe and the location of the 2012 Olympics Sailing Regatta.
Beach to Ringstead Bay with great views from up the hill where there is free parking
Monkey World to The Tank Museum plus the beautiful coastline with Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
Getting around
