A disappointing holiday although the area is delightful. We left early because of excessive heat and the house was very stuffy. It states the garden is shared - it isn't, not really. The cottage had not been cleaned and was very cramped.

About the neighbourhood
BEACHES: We have 12 safe, sandy beaches and coves within 9km. All have golden sand and clear water for swimming. BIKING:The Presqu'ile de Crozon (which is part of the Parc d'Armorique) has a huge number and variety of lanes and paths criss-crossing the peninsula, many of which can be used by cyclists. These include the 145km coastal footpath which winds its way around the whole peninsula. Cycling a section can be great fun. CAVE KAYAKING (5km): For a really good, adventurous day try kayaking in the sheltered waters of Morgat Bay and visit the many sea caves. All equipment can be hired from Morgat (5km). DIVING: Camaret-sur-Mer (7km) is renowned for its clear water diving on the many wrecks and reefs in our area. The diving school at Camaret can provide lessons and all the gear you need. F...
How to get there
is situated at Kergalet, a tiny sleepy hamlet just outside Crozon and about six miles from Camaret-Sur-Mer. We are 56 miles from Roscoff where the Plymouth ferry docks. There are at least two Brittany Ferries a day in summer and the crossings take about 6 hrs. Otherwise one can cross further east from Poole, Portsmouth or Dover and drive down to us on the very good fast French roads. St Malo is about 150 miles, Caen is about 250 miles and Cherbourg is about 260 miles. You can fly from City Airport, Birmingham, Southampton or Exeter to Brest and hire a vehicle for your holiday. The flight from the UK takes about 90 minutes, and Brest is about 30 miles from us. Prices start at about £34. Hire cars can be picked up at Brest Airport - Prices start from £90 per week.
