Enjoy a meal round the spacious dining table by the window that looks up the village.
The dining room has a dressed stone fireplace with coal fire.
The master bedroom with king-size bed dressed to reflect the beautiful Swaledale meadows.
Bedrooms, tastefully decorated with period furniture.
The double bedroom, the smallest of the three bedrooms but for many their favorite.
The subtle blend of old with new makes the Manse a special place to stay.
The twin bedded room, flooded with light at the front of the cottage.

Stunning scenery which ever way you look.
The path that leads down into Keld woods and the pretty walk to Muker is only a minute away.
Keld has the highest concentration of waterfalls in England & all within walking distance.

Beautiful area, loads of walks, so much to see and do. Comfy accommodation, everything we needed was there. Great local welcome. Looking forward to going back.

Stayed in the manse for three nights there was everything you needed even coal and logs for the lovely and cosy open fire 🔥 it was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed walking in the village. The village hall supplied tea, coffe...More

About the neighbourhood
Keld Countryside and Heritage Centre tells the story of the village history and culture including hill farming, local people, vernacular architecture, wildlife conservation and the history of the chapel buildings. For information about a programme of events run by the Centre throughout the summer, see www.tkrc.org.uk.

A range of Arts and Crafts shops can be found in Muker, Reeth, Richmond and Hawes.

Keld has a local tea shop (Rukin's Farm - Easter until end September) and a bar and excellent restaurant at Keld Lodge. The UK's highest pub at Tan Hill lies 4 miles away. Eating and drinking nearby (Kearton Country Hotel, Thwaite, Farmer's Arms and the Tea Shop, Muker, the Punch Bowl, Low Row, and a range of others in the villages further down Swaledale and at Hawes, Wensleydale....

How to get there
Use of a car is highly recommended especially if you want to travel in the area. The Little White Bus service runs from Richmond to Keld (via Reeth) four times daily ( see timetable in the Manse for details)
