Close to the house there are stunning beaches Tullagh Bay and Binion to name just two of many. In Tullagh Bay you can also spend the day with a surf lesson. There are also some amazing hills for walking in the Clonmany area Binion Hill being one where you can enjoy 360-degree views from the top. If you travel a little further out of Clonmany for ten minutes to Urris where there are lots of different walking trains such as the Urris Lakes loop and Butler’s Glen walk. For the more adventurous you can climb Slieve Snaght Inishowen’s highest mountain which rises to 615 meters and on a clear day from the top you can see all the way to Scotland. Ballyliffin Golf Club is a five-minute drive away from the property this golf club is widely regarded as having the finest links complex in Ireland boasting two championship link courses. The Famine Village in the Isle of Dough is a five-minute drive away and takes you on an informative and at time humorous journey through Irish history from the famine in the 1840’s up until the present day. Tullagh Bay Equestrian is located ten minutes from the house and provides riding and trekking for all ages it is great fun for all the family. The beautiful Glenevin Waterfall is a five-minute drive from the property and has off road parking. The waterfall stands at almost 40 foot tall and has a skinny cascade of freshwater. It provides a lovely ramble from the car park. Taking and enjoying a picnic is a must at one of the many benches provided or take a picnic blanket. The walk from the car park to the waterfall takes about 20 minutes. Fort Dunree is 12km from Clonmany and is an old retired defensive fort with a military museum which all sits on the spectacular western coastline on the Inishowen Peninsula. Malin Head is 30km north from Clonmany and the northernmost point of Ireland. The dramatic coastal headland is well worth the visit. This is also where some scenes for Star Wars were filmed at Banba’s Crown you can walk in the steps of Luke Skywalker and get a picture beside the new R2D2 road signs. If relaxing in a typical Irish Bar is on your list of musts, then Clonmany Village is a ten-minute stroll from the house and has many bars that will be sure to provide you with a good pint of Guinness. Once a year Clonmany also host a festival which attracts thousands of holiday makers and locals alike and is guaranteed to be a fun family week full of activities. Each night of the entire week Ireland’s top bands performs open air live on stage. During the day there are a lot of activities to keep all the family entertained from cycling events, pet shows, treasure hunts, talent competitions, Ceili’s and a fun fair for all the family. There are many more activities and places to visit in Inishowen and surrounding Donegal what I have named are but a few. What I can guarantee you is that once you visit Inishowen and especially Clonmany you will be planning your next trip back before you leave.

A lovely cosy place to stay
The house was great for our 3 week holiday in Inishowen. Spotlessly clean and modern interior. Bifold doors brought the outdoors indoors and made livingroom feel bigger. Handy for a variety of tourist locations like Glenevin waterfall, Malin head etc. Hugh welcomed us and was on hand for any advice. Thanks! A great break was had by all and we'd recommend house highly. Thanks

Perfect Donegal getaway
After staying in numerous accommodation over the years in Ireland, France and Spain, this is in our top 5. Everything brand new and of a high standard. Bright and airy. Perfect location for amazing beaches and pubs, easy drive to Glenveagh National park. Already booked to return this year.

A Wee Slice Of Heaven
I was fortunate enough to be able to stay long term in this house over the winter, and I am sad to have to leave! Everything was absolutely perfect. The house itself was built to the highest standards, and the hosts have fitted it out with everything you could ever need for a short or longer stay. The hosts have been nothing but accommodating, and they will make it clear they are just a phone call away if you need anything. The views are spectacular, and even on rainy days you get to see the hills and make the most of all the light from the patio doors and multiple skylights. I have spent so many happy hours watching the birds and enjoying the views. There are shops and several pubs within walking distance, the locals are so friendly, and the area is strikingly beautiful. It has been my home for several months, and I have honestly never been happier. Five stars just doesn't seem like enough, I'd give 100 Gold Stars if I could!

Amazing!
This is an amazing holiday home. Everything is brand new and finished to absolute perfection. The owners really have thought of everything! Very safe for young children...blind cords tied up, wardrobe attached to wall, gates to close entrance from road, fence around garden etc. Really clean and spacious property. Appreciated the selection of games left for my child to play with as well as outdoor toys in garden. Beautifully decorated, bright and open living area indoors with a huge sofa bed. This place will easily accommodate 4 people. The bedroom is much much bigger than it looks in the photos. Clean and spacious decorative concrete patio area and beautiful gardens, so much space and with comfortable outdoor seating areas to really enjoy it, while listening to the little stream run into the river behind the property. Ideally located very close to Clonmany village, within walking distance, but just far enough away to have no noise disturbance. Really beautiful stay in an extremely scenic and peaceful location. Hugh was so friendly, welcoming and informative about the local facilities and reassured us he was only a phonecall away if we needed anything. Really pleased with our choice to stay here. Very much appreciated the personal touch from the owners on our arrival to welcome us. Newly opened so will be sure to book early in future as I have no doubts this place will not sit vacant.
