Beautiful penthouse duplex apartment in the convenient and scenic La Almadraba resort
On the top floor, there are two bedrooms, one double room with en-suite and one family room with three beds and separate family shower/bathroom.
Downstairs, there is a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen, a guest WC, lounge/dining area with dining table for 6 people. From the lounge there is access to the West facing terrace with views overlooking the communal swimming pool and out towards the neighboring golf course and hills in the distance. The property has A/c on both floors.

About the neighbourhood
La Almadraba is a gated resort of just 80 apartments and is on a much smaller scale than some of the big concret complexes to be found all around the Costa del Sol. It has a lush tropical feel with well kept gardens, flower beds, lemon trees and the nice cloiver leaf swimming pool.
The nesting parrots can often be seen in the garden palm trees and during the evening the frogs like to let themselves be heard all of which adds to the magic of the resort.
Alongside the resort is the Duquesa golf course so the whole area has a country feel but at the same time is only a 5 mins walk from the marina and beach.

How to get there
Airport: Malaga: 120.0 km
The easiest way of getting to this area of the Costa Del Sol is by hiring a car at the airport. Malagacar comes highly recommended if you want to avoid the queues at the airport booking desks. Car hire is very resonable and a week's hire with a compact car will cost about 100euros or 170 if extra insurance is needed.
For those not wanting to hire, there is an airport bus to Estepona and a taxi from Estepona will cost about 18euros. The bus takes about 1 hour and the taxi about 20mins.
There are no trains down the coast beyond Fuengirola.
Once in the area, getting around locally is very easy with everything needed for a lovely holiday within walking distance.
