La Noria is a large development which is built to the highest specification with marble flooring. Its beachfront location means the secure access to the promenade and beach are a stone's throw from the apartment. There is a balcony with dining table and chairs. The location of this flat is excellent - the beach is on the doorstep and all the restaurants are walking distance, no need to use the car! It is a great family friendly flat which is both clean and well decorated. We will definitely return...More

About the neighbourhood
Situated about half way between Marbella and Gibraltar, Manilva benefits from a privileged position at the western end of the Costa del Sol, where it enjoys a tranquillity which makes it a refuge from the hustle and bustle whilst still being in easy reach of the Coast's busier tourist centres.
Manilva is also excellently situated as a base from which to explore all that Andalucia has to offer, from its picturesque White Towns and Villages nestling in the region's mountains, to its historic cities such as Seville, Malaga, Granada and Cordoba. The municipality is also just a short hop across the Strait of Gibraltar from continental Africa, namely Ceuta and Morocco.

Getting around
You do not necessarily need a car once staying at La Noria, as all the essentials and non-essentials are close by.
Hiring a car is the best way to see the local and not so local area/s.
There are also taxis available in Sabinillas itself, or you can ring Radio Taxi on (+34) 952 80 29 00 and tell them to come to La Noria 3 entrance.
There is a coach and bus station in Estapona which is about 10 minutes by taxi.You can find this on the web under Estapona Bus Station.

How to get there
Airport: Gibraltar: 34.0 km
From Gibraltar airport you can take a taxi from just over the border. The journey time is just over half an hour. Alternatively, you can hire a car and this is best done online before you travel.
There is easy access to the dual carriageway which runs along the Costa del Sol. A taxi rank and bus stop is within a 5 minute walk from the property, although bus times may be limited, especially in the winter months.
Car hire is not essential once you get to the property, as all amenities are within a short flat walking distance of La Noria resort, unless of course you are wanting to explore the region.
You can of course choose to travel to Malaga Airport. From here you will need a car. The journey time to the property is around 50 minutes along the motorway which is a toll road. The distanc...
