A lovely apartment with everything you need, well equipped kitchen, separate utility with washing machine and large fridge freezer in addition to small fridge in kitchen. 3 good size beds although we only used 2. Nice balcony shady in the mornings so lovely to have...More

About the neighbourhood
San Luis de Sabinillas is the small coastal town is a village of Manilva in the western section of the Costa del Sol and between Marbella and Gibraltar.

Manilva. one of the most charming aspects of Manilva is that, despite its prime location on the coast, there is a refreshing lack of anonymous sky-scraper construction. Therefore, although tourists are just starting to discover the village (with good reason), it remains intrinsically Spanish. The majority of residents live in the commercial centre which covers just two square kilometers.

Getting around
San luis de Sabinillas is a small coastal town so the best transport around the town is on foot. The town gets very busy in the summer months with visitors looking for bars restaurants and the beach. (Parking can be difficult but as a guest you have the allocated parking bay in the car park beneath the apartments.
What to go further afield and don't want to take the car? There is a bus service that operates between Malaga and Cadiz and a local service from Sabinillas can link you to this.
Car hire is available at the 3 nearest airports, Malaga, Gibraltar and Jerez and in Sabinillas too.

Airport: Gibraltar 35 km and Malaga 92 km: 35.0 km
Railway: Estacion de San Roque: 25.0 km
Ferry: Algeciras: 45.0 km
AIRPORTS, Malaga is about 45 minutes' drive away and GIBRALTAR 25 minutes.
A taxis from Gibraltar (actually cross into Spain, just a 5 minute walk from the new International Airport Terminal and get a taxis from the rank at La Linea del a Concepcion) will cost about 45 euros to Sabinillas, or once you are familiar with Spain take the bus, there is a service that travels right along the coast to Malaga every couple of hours.
