The cottage adjoins the owners main home which is a converted Dutch Barn. This barn was originally part of a working farm and is sited furthest away from the original farmhouse and therefore, as well as enjoying lovely views over the neighbouring farmers fields, we are not overlooked by other houses.The cottage has been lovingly and stylishly converted to a very high standard and is an ideal retreat for couples or couples with a child.

The cottage is located in Chapels, a small hamlet, within the village of Kirkby in Furness. There is a local shop and 3 pubs within a mile and a half radius of the cottage.

What a lovely cottage, perfect little getaway in a superb location. The cottage had everything we needed and more and we were very very happy with everything. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The Cottage is set in a lovely spot close to the Lake District, but far enough away from the summer hordes to be truly relaxing. The accommodation is very high standard, and was cosy but still big enough to fit our family of four. Mike...More

It is located in the village of Kirkby in Furness where there is a local shop and pubs within mile radius. It is an ideal base from which to explore the local region. Coniston Lake is 7 miles away and the historic market town of Broughton in Furness is 6 miles away.There are plenty of good pubs and places to eat within 20 minutes drive.The famous Cumbria Way is within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance.
