Dubarry Downs is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty,in the semi rural village of Wroxall. Ideally located for cyclists, hikers and walkers, as minutes away from the Sunshine Trail, bridle ways, footpaths and cycle paths.

The self catering apartment is well equipped with kitchen utensils, includes dishwasher, microwave, washer dryer, oven, hob and fridge. Freeview TV, free WiFi, Wii Games and BBQ on request.

The two bedrooms include a large double room and a twin room with single beds. Ideal for small families, who just want to retreat at the end of a busy day on the beach or after exploring the island. A foldaway guest bed can be set up in double room for a fifth person. Travel cot also available.

I like to welcome my guests on arrival. I live on site, so I'm close at hand if need help. If non urgent, then request contact via SMS, if urgent then happy with phone call (not after 10pm unless an emergency). I try not to intrude, as I value my own privacy, however I'm more than happy to help and answer questions and stop for a chat.

Stayed here for a few days. Perfect for a trip on the island, as close to beaches, as well as great for walking. Apartment has plenty kitchen utensils and equipment. Loved the LED shower. Little courtyard great for our pooch. Thank you will be back!!

About the neighbourhood
Semi rural village - Wroxall has a small grocery/newsagent/postoffice shop and a local pub The Star.

Wroxall is surrounded by fabulous walks.
Can walk up to to Appuldurcombe House, across to Fremantle Gate and on to Godshill village.
Walk along the old railway track to Shanklin, its fairly flat walk and gravel, so perfect for keeping potential muddy paws cleanish!
Walk up past the pub, head up on to the downs and a steep climb will take you up to the old Ventnor RAF Radar Station. You can then walk the Horseshoe back with fantastic views of Bonchurch, Shanklin and Sandown and the White Culver cliffs, before dropping back down into Wroxall at the top of Clevelands Road.
Getting around
No 3 Bus every half an hour to Newport and Ryde via Ventnor, Shankling, Sandown.

Post code is PO383DZ for SAT NAV, this brings you to Clevelands Rd, take the single track at end of the road (left of the signpost for The Glade), follow track and Clevelands Country House is on the left.
Access to Dubarry Downs apartment is through the first wooden gate on the right side of the house. Please do not open the second wooden gate, as this is a private garden and my dogs may be out and are potential escapees.
