If you're looking for something special, this is it! This historic, unique, converted chapel is a delight to visit. It really has to be seen to be believed and to get the full feel of the huge space and relaxing rooms with 30 foot high ceilings and Gothic windows. Originally built in 1836, it has been lovingly and sensitively converted to retain its history and character, making it into a unique, comfortable home with masses of space. Fascinating and fun, this is the perfect place to stay. The huge communal spaces make it perfect for a gathering of families and/or friends and the sprawling rooms means there is privacy too if you want it. The property has 3 bedrooms sleeping 11 in total, 2 double sofa beds and a further 3 single fold up guest beds. Perfect if you have a wedding to go to or an event nearby or just want to spend time together.More

I booked this property for a hen party and it was perfect. It’s about 20 minutes outside of Bath town centre (around £17 for a taxi in) in a quiet village. It’s a beautiful converted chapel with lots of room and fully equipped. The kitchen...More

About the neighbourhood
Opposite a huge public but quiet park in Box, which is a trendy Wiltshire village with gorgeous buildings & full of lovely & creative people, including Peter Gabriel's recording studio. A stone's throw away is a little supermarket for all your groceries. The Quarryman's arms is a proper pub with amazing views and great pub food and there is an Indian Takeaway just along the road in a converted pub plus a great village pub. The city of Bath is a 20 minute drive and well worth a visit and the town of Corsham, full of great cafes and restaurants is a 5 minute drive. We will send you lots of recommendations on booking.
Getting around
You will need a car really and there is plenty of (public) on-street free parking. There's a bus into Bath that stops outside which is worth doing if you fancy a day in Bath without having to worry about parking (which can be an issue in Bath City Centre). We can recommend good value taxis too including people carriers for groups.
