The Old Stable is a 5* graded character cottage situated above the Gwaun Valley in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, 5 miles from the coast and glorious beaches. This is an area of outstanding beauty with wooded valleys, streams and waterfalls (including a 70 feet cascade 10 minutes walk from the cottage) giving way to moorland with Welsh ponies and other wildlife. This very comfortable cottage was converted from the old stone farm stables – log fire, exposed beams and slate floors add to the charm. The Old Stable provides everything that will make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. The cottage is in the Preseli Hills giving stunning views and scenery, which are perfect for bird watchers and walkers. Stayed here at the end of June 2013. Short drive to Cardigan, Newport, Fishguard, St Davids and Tenby/Saundersfoot. Great beaches nearby. Beautiful countryside and surrounding area. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet coastal break.
