Fabulous location looking onto the beach, harbour and golf course. Cosy and peaceful cottage which was ideal for our stay in the North. Good for families and easy access to the amenities of Brora. Thank you Sandi!

Thanks John and Irene. So glad you ALL enjoyed yourselves. Can't always guarantee the sunshine although there can be a surprising amount in Brora. The new stove certainly seems to be a hit. We should have done it years ago!

About the neighbourhood
The cottage is by the sea yet minutes from all amenities. The front garden overlooks the river and the sea and there are also seats and picnic tables nearby-visitors have been known to take their breakfast overlooking the river and sea, watching birds, seals and boats. Only small lobster boats or anglers use the wee harbour and again visitors have managed to get lobsters and crabs fresh before now. The cottage is on the Heritage Trail round Brora and there are booklets in the cottage describing this. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Brora itself has a wee harbour, Ice House, football ground, tennis court and bowling green, world famous 18 hole golf course, miles of sandy beaches, swim lunches at the Marine Hotel, a library, Heritage Centre,a whisky distillery... more
