At the rear of the cottage the flower-filled garden is a delight with a paved sunken patio perfect for evening barbecues. A secluded lawn provides plenty of safe space for kids or pets, whilst at the garden’s edge, a summer house looks out over a field to the weir of the River Dove. A meandering stream flows to the watermill next door completing the countryside scene. More

Thanks for your feedback Fiona. This is the first feedback we have received about the mattresses but will take on board your experience and will replace them this month, along with a new kettle and stock of light bulbs and lager duvet. I am unsure...More

The best about our two week holiday was the actual location, with many walks and bike rides straight from the cottage. Parking isn't ideal due to issues regarding the neighbour's drive. The cottage itself is adequate. The kitchen is nice and current, but the bathroom...More

Thanks for your feedback and review. We are just waiting for a gap in bookings after a very busy few months to carry out a repaint and lay a new carpet in the lounge. This will be completed in the next few weeks.

We can honestly say there was nothing about this cottage we would change, it was clean when we arrived, had all the utensils and things we needed and the garden was well used by our 3yr old. We were incredibly lucky in that the weather...More
