The Bungalow, is a late 19th century summer house overlooking a coconut grove, nested in the shadows of Bogmalo beach. It was designed to be a rest house for the landlord and his family . During their stay, they would oversee works on the coconut plantations. The mud walls, Mangalore tiled roof, plenty of windows ensures natural light and a cool ambience through the day. The Bungalow, 100 mts from Bogmalo beach, is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the serenity of Goan coastal village life. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: HOTS001045

A great place to stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Bungalow, hosted by Jorge. Right from the time of booking, Jorge kept communicating with me and booking was a smooth and easy process and subsequently Jorge kept me up to date including providing local and sightseeing information. The bungalow itself is a well maintained and very clean and tidy property, set in a quiet, peaceful location, among coconut groves, close to the beach and near the airport, with both North and South Goa easily accessible by road. Jorge greeted us in person when we arrived and also came to meet us once again during our stay and made sure that we had everything we needed. Things were expertly taken care of by the caretaker Sebastian, along with his son Cedric, who only live next door to the Bungalow. Meals were available at extra cost and these were expertly cooked by Sebastian's wife, delicious and full of flavour. We had a lovely experience and would highly recommend this Bungalow stay.

My review of The Bungalow at Bogmalo
This Homestay is stunning! A tranquil piece of paradise in a lush verdant village by the beach! Location In the heart of the village of Bogmalo, this beautiful home stay faces a coconut tree plantation and is a short walk away from the beach. The House The house itself is a traditional authentic Goan heritage home with lots of natural ventilation and light. Antique wooden furniture, characterful artefacts and a tasteful decor make this a beautiful yet comfortable place to relax and unwind. All rooms are spacious and air-conditioned with en-suite facilities that have western style toilets. Meals Whilst the kitchen is large and well equipped with all the mod cons to facilitate self catering, I would personally recommend having your breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by the fabulous cook. Lovers of fish and seafood can request this for dinner (as long as an order is made in the morning). Wi-Fi Digital Nomads or those working from a home abroad, please note the house has wifi.

Amazing and wonderful experience!!
This well restored old Portugese house had tastefully decorated spacious rooms which were impeccably clean providing a comfortable stay. Being just a short stroll away from the beach was a major highlight allowing for serene walks and stunning sunsets.
