If you so desire you can take a boat trip on one of the gabarres, hire a canoe, go trekking or simply pass the time of day on the terrace at the house. This 15th century house was completely restored in 2000 to give it a spirit of charm. It is very comfortable, cool in summer thanks to its stone walls; you will be seduced by its situation in the heart of the village and its exceptional views of the river Dordogne and the neighboring castles. On the first level, accessed through the garden, there is a very pretty self-contained bedroom with its baldachin bed and its own shower and toilet. Opening out onto the outside terrace is the wooden floored lounge with its stone walls and frame work of beams. The fully equipped kitchen and dining room are open-planned. The bathroom and toilet are separate. Upstairs there is the main bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with 2 single beds. Outside there is a covered summer terrace with a barbecue and the private swimming pool boasts an unspoiled view of the river Dordogne. The owners live in the village and they will welcome you and tell you the best places to go to. More
