La Albufereta neighbourhood: Placed between the bigger, better-known suburbs of San Juan beach and Alicante marina, La Albufereta is a quiet and relaxed neighbourhood with stunning views, sandy beaches and family atmosphere that tends to have a community feel, yet only 15 minutes from Alicante marina by bus. There are 2 sandy beaches in La Albufereta neighbourhood: Almadraba beach, perfect for relaxing, calm and free of waves and crowds. From this quiet place you can enjoy fantastic sunsets. Albufereta beach, with fine, golden sands, playgrounds, palm trees and a 'chiringuito', this is one of the most popular holiday spot amongst local people of Alicante. There is also an important archaeological site called Tossal de Manises, where in fact, it was here that Alicante originated, and a little sport port that offers saliling and surfing courses for adults and children. It's a great spot for families, or anyone wanting a peaceful retreat just minutes from the centre or San Juan beach. It is easily accessible with plenty of buses and tram lines and very well served with restaurants, tapa´s bars, supermarkets... Very pleasant stay pool great . Great location .beds comfortable boys loved bunk beds . Local restaurants and shops right at doorstep .
