Holiday Rental House
Harold's Farm is a traditional Derbyshire farmhouse in a superb location on the side of Kinder Scout in the Peak District National Park. The farmhouse is a Grade II listed building dating from the 1730s with bags of original character including exposed oak beams, mullion windows, big fireplaces and flag floors. It faces south and there are spectacular views over the Kinder Valley from all of the rooms. Recently the farmhouse has been fully restored and it now benefits from underfloor heating below the original stone flag floors, new bathrooms and a clean and functional farmhouse kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms: a main double en-suite bedroom, a twin bedded room and a further large double room which can also accommodate a trundle bed. Great location with breathtaking views from the cottage and great walks from the front door. Comfortable beds, quality finish to cottage, everything you would need in the kitchen, cosy sitting room with real fire.

Warm, plenty of hot water, clean, very comfortable, soft bed linen, very well-stocked kitchen, lovely views. Good location for walks, serious hikes or just pub lunches and dinners. We have nothing bad to say and had a very enjoyable and break and recommend Harold's Farm.

About the neighbourhood
Arguably the best location in the Peak District.
How to get there
From Hayfield village take Kinder Road passing The Sportsman pub on your left. After further 1/4 mile turn right over the bridge and keep left following the road alongside the river. After 1/4 mile turn left into the lane leading to ‘Hill Houses’. Harolds Farm is at the top of lane on the right. It’s a tight right turn so best way to approach is to drive past the farm then reverse and turn so you can drive straight up in front of the farmhouse.
