About the neighbourhood
Chateaulin is the largest main town to the cottage approximatly 5 miles away, and has a very reliable train station which goes to other larger towns like Brest or Quimper. Chateaulin is located on the banks of the river Aulne, of which I have attached a picture, it has plenty of shops, bars resurants, banks et, and is blessed with a famous salmon run through the town with day permits readly available.
How to get there
Flights start from £29 when booked in advance with FlyBe from Manchester, Birmingham, Exeter and Southampton Airport to Brest Airport which is 40 minutes drive to the cottage, or Rennes Airport approx 120 minutes drive away. You can catch the ferry from any british port, Roscoff is approximatly 60minutes drive to the cottage.
