This independent house has been recently renovated preserving the features that distinguish the seaside village of Gioiosa Marea where this house is located. To make a frame majestic and noble palaces of 1800 that embellish it and, at same time, don’t debase the characteristics of a typical house that was born to be the residence of fishermen whose business was one of the most flourishing until a few decades ago. This house is just few steps from the beautiful sandy beach and the crystal clear sea and , at same time, from the centre of the village where you can taste the typical Sicilian dishes and enjoy the rarefied atmosphere of a country that continues, despite the course of the years, to retain the architectural original aspect. Amazing host, excellent location, good value for money
The host Emanuele is amazing, he greeted us in the middle of the night on arrival. During our stay he was extremely helpful with his replies within a minute, gave us useful tips what to see in the area and also on our further travel in Sicily. The property is in fantastic location - basically on the beach and in the very centre of beautiful Gioiosa Marea, with free parking next to your door - despite that location is quiet, as all buzz going around the corner and you can't hear it. Apartment is newly refurbished and some small issues are missing. Thank you, we definitely recommend this place as very nice place to stay in Gioiosa Marea.
The thing to notice - House is located near the train station, so you know all timetables from early morning.

Beatiful house with a stunning view of the sea...
The house is single and located in a quiet area just few meters from the sandy beach and the main square of Gioiosa Marea, it is tastefully furnished and well equipped. The sunset, the sea and the view of the Aeolian Islands are enchanting. In the village you can admire the old architecture and also there are many restaurants with typical sicilian dishes! The owner is very friendly and it was a pleasant surprise to find some typical Sicilian desserts for breakfast. Kate from Berlin.

About the neighbourhood
Many are the places of interest: the little antiquarium is in the center of Gioiosa Guardia; the Tono's caves where stones and stalagmites formations abound inside, still active today, odd shapes and breathtaking beautiful. To the east of Gioiosa Marea, there is the rock of Capo Calavà where there is a beautiful sandy beach and there are many trekking roautes.
Taormina and Cefalù 120 km from the holiday home. The nearest airport is Catania Fontana Rossa Airport, 160 km from Casa Grazia.
