Good location and views. Rowans Lodge was spacious and very comfortable, bedding, towels etc all provided with nice little touches to each room. Felt like home from home and would highly recommend a stay here.

Bassenthwaite Lake is owned by the National Park Authority and is one of the largest measuring in at almost 4 miles long and ¾ mile wide; but also one of the shallowest with a maximum depth of around 70ft.
