Culture is big in Rochester - so much to do. The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra is known as the only major orchestra in the U.S. supported by a mid-sized city such as Rochester. If you're a movie buff, the Little Theater has five screens featuring American independent and foreign films and is one of the most widely known "art house" movie theatres with its art deco look. The Dryden Theater shows several rare and popular films each week from the vast film archives of George Eastman House, Museum of Photography and Film. There are a ton of smaller galleries throughout downtown and in the suburbs most of which are free and include art from locals and well known regional artists in photogpraphy, pottery, paint, and all other mediums - the best of which is Artisan Works, which is over 4,000 sq. ft. of art from floor to ceiling
