Crossing the border into Bosnia Hercegovina is pretty much like crossing the border into any other country but just make sure about the visa requirements before you go. I lead pilgrimages to Medjugorje in Hercegovina two times a month and the #1 problem we run into are passports from South America, India, the Phillipines. You need visa's to get into Bosnia Hercegovina. From the European Union, US, Canada and the UK, there are no problems.
There is no problem with Crossing the Border into or from Croatia, but Bosnia Hercegovina is another story. The absolutely will not let you into the country if you are from a country they require a visa from. If you are from a country other than the EU, US, please check the consulate of Bosnia Hercegovina for the correct Visa information and forms you might need to fill out.
