Crossing the Ghana border from Aflao to Lome (Togo).
Be sure you are accompanied by someone who can speak the Ashanti Ghana language. You may have a visa to go to Togo and a valid travel document, but the Ghana border guards may be corrupt and try to get all the money you have on you.
You are obliged to show your travel document. If that is taken away from you together with any money you have, then you are doomed.
