While in Dublin participate in the Zozimus Walking Ghost Tour.  It is an absolute hoot! It was a great way to see some of the city by foot, safely at night, with a comical guide.  It was also a fabulous way to hear some ’history’ of Dublin.  It was relatively inexpensive - only about 10 pounds per person. The individual who leads the walk is in costume and at various points during the tour other actors show up, also in costume.  It is a lot of  fun for anyone who will be touring Dublin.

Another great tip for the sports lover in your group is to try to see some of Ireland's traditional Gaelic Games - hurling and gaelic football.  They are fast paced and exciting games with hurling being in existence for over one thousand years!  They are played in Croke Park in the summer months most Sundays.  Tickets can usually be bought from Ticketmaster or from small kiosks near the stadium on the day of the game.  Only the Leinster championship or All-Ireland Semi-Finals or Finals usually sell out (it's a magnificient 80,000 seat stadium) so there would be a good chance of getting a ticket.

Don't worry if you don't know the rules, most supporters are good-natured and are delighted to impart their wisdom to a newcomer.
