Reserva Natural da Baia de Sao Lourenco, this beautiful sandy bay is surrounded by lush green cliffs, nesting birds and historic vineyards. The sea is crystal clear and even in winter the water temperature is often over 19 degrees. From April to September there are three beach bars to chose from all serving food and drinks and in the summer months the bay is buzzing with tourists from the USA and Canada and also Europe.
